After partnering with Patricia Arquette on the red carpet at the 2019 SAG Awards (where she won for Best Supporting Actress) in support of her charity, GIVE LOVE, RAD leveraged her double nomination at the EMMY AWARDS later that year to host an evening in her honor that would celebrate her award recognitions and bring awareness to her activism and charity work.
We curated a RAD TALK featuring Patricia, at The AllBright, for a full house of female members, followed by a private rooftop dinner for her friends and select press. We partnered with MICHAEL STARS, who’s co-founder and President, Suzanne Lerner, met Patricia on a mission to Haiti and joined us in honoring her activism by making a donation to Give Love, co-hosting our dinner, and creating a Give Love-branded t-shirt to raise more money for the org.
It was an inspiring evening of advocacy + celebration for an OG #radvocate who is always using her platform for progress.
We are proud to support Give Love, a skills training organization dedicated to the teaching and promotion of Ecological Sanitation and composting. They work hands-on with schools, communities, and Non-Governmental Organizations to provide affordable toilets and on-site treatment solutions for high-need and water-scarce areas in Kenya, Uganda, Nicaragua and Colombia.
