Need for Accessible Birth Control

FACT: Approx. 20 million people in the U.S today live in areas without reasonable access to birth control. This holds them back from their fully living their lives, pursuing their careers and taking care of their families. ⠀
⠀
According to research by The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, before women had access to birth control there were zero female CEOs at any of the Fortune 500 companies. Now? There are 21. Although it would be phenomenal to see more women in those positions — and we will! — those 21 women are proof that when women are given control over their bodies, success just naturally follows.⠀

@Powertodecide Contraceptive Access Fund helps erase barriers to birth control that people who lack access to health insurance or cannot afford the costs of unpaid time off work, transportation, and childcare required to access birth control face. ⠀
⠀
Birth control is HEALTHCARE. Act, donate and get involved to help make this fundamental RIGHT a reality for women in need. ⠀
