Read, Listen, Watch: Climate Change

Spring beckons and it is tempting to go outside and gather with friends. We know, we feel it too. This is your friendly reminder that it is still safest to stay at home and at a distance as much as possible. Here's what we are watching, reading, and listening to to stay inspired and indoors this weekend:⠀
⠀
Watching: Our friend and filmmaker, Kerry David, will be hosting a "Sneak Peek” screening of her multiple award-winning film "Breaking Their Silence" which highlights the stories of incredible women across the globe fighting against illegal wildlife trade. ⠀
⠀
Reading: 'The Future We Choose' was written by Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac who led negotiations for the United Nations during the historic Paris Agreement of 2015. Figures and Rivett-Carnac outline an inspiring and practical path to curbing climate catastrophe. Dubbed as "one of the most inpiring books I have ever read" by best selling author, Yuval Harari, we look forward to choosing a future without climate change too. ⠀
⠀
Listening: We don't know about you but Cheryl Strayed's columns and podcasts have provided comfort and guidance to us for years. Now, in her new podcast, 'Sugar Calling' Strayed interviews prolific writers, from Judy Blume to Margaret Atwood about coping in the time of Covid-19.⠀
