"The Social Power of the Red Carpet" with Elizabeth Banks at Business of Fashion West Summit for Dress for Success

RAD was honored to participate in Business of Fashion’s second annual BoF West summit in a dedicated panel on "The Social Power of the Red Carpet."

ELIZABETH BANKS joined RAD’s co-founders to discuss how and why celebrities should leverage their appearances and social platforms to support causes they believe in. She was also RAD in real-time by wearing a dress from sustainable fashion resale site, thredUP

who joined her in support of DRESS FOR SUCCESS, by making a donation to the  global non-profit organization, which empowers women to thrive in work and life by providing professional attire and resources.

The seamless advocacy campaign, which aligned Elizabeth’s dressing choice for the day with a cause that’s meaningful to her, showed the audience what a RAD partnership looks like, live! Elizabeth effortlessly used her platform at the event to tell the audience about Dress for Success and why she supports it. She also used her social media multiple times to celebrate the philanthropic partnership and to inspire her fans to join her in supporting the non-profit.
