Matchesfashion "Red Carpet Advocacy" Edit for The Trevor Project and ACLU

As a continuation of our RAD partnership with MATCHESFASHION.COM that started at Frieze LA with our first RAD TALK entitled, “Red Carpet Advocacy and Cultural Relevance”

we launched our first RAD “product with purpose” retail campaign

which partnered the Talk’s panelists, super stylists KARLA WELCH and ELIZABETH STEWART, with the luxury e-tailer to curate a Red Carpet Edit for Good aligned with The Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival.

Karla chose to support THE TREVOR PROJECT, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth people under 25. Elizabeth chose to support ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), which has worked for almost 100 years to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States.

Together, they curated an edit of 72 items from the site and Matchesfashion.com donated 100% of profits to both charities (split evenly).

Matchesfashion.com further supported Karla and Elizabeth’s advocacy with an article about the edit, which seamlessly integrated interviews with both stylists with information about their charities, then promoted the edit, the article and the advocacy for the charities on their social platforms to fully leverage the awareness opportunity for our benefitting charities.
