RAD for WOMEN with Eric Buterbaugh for Center for Reproductive Rights
Eric Buterbaugh LOVES women! He is RAD and his friends are RAD, so when he used his magnificent mastery of roses to create a stunning floral sculpture of a woman’s vulva, he called RAD and asked, “how can I use my art to support women?”
RAD knew how. This was a unique and organic opportunity to develop a creative and clever advocacy campaign for women’s reproductive rights. We called our super RAD friends at the Center for Reproductive Rights, the brilliant boss lawyers fighting all over the world for the rights of women to govern our own bodies. Together, we identified three immediate threats to women’s health and reproductive rights (see below), then collaborated with Eric to launch a fundraising and advocacy campaign to raise awareness about them and to activate people to protect the women in their lives. Because #ReproRightsAreHumanRights.
Eric created 3 inclusive colorways of the #RADforWOMEN “Vulvacious Floral Sculptures” and we sent them to RAD friends -- including Gwyneth Paltrow, Miley Cyrus, Lizzo, Kate Hudson, Jeremy Scott, Gabrielle Union, Demi Moore, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Wilde, Cardi B, Courteney Cox, Dita Von Teese, Elizabeth Banks and Laverne Cox – along with an informational tool kit about the 3 issues to share with their friends, fans and followers:
